Springfield Tennis
Club, Inc. is a community tennis association that draws its members from throughout the Greater Springfield area of Massachusetts
and northern Connecticut. The primary purposes of the club are to raise the necessary funds to maintain the beautiful, public,
clay tennis courts at Forest Park in Springfield MA and to provide tennis playing opportunities for our members. We sponsor
tennis tournaments, a ladder for club members, and monthly mixers. Members can reserve court time 24 hours in advance. otherwise
the courts are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Playing time is limited to 90 minutes.
The
money to maintain the courts comes almost entirely from membership fees and almost all the money we raise each year is used
for that purpose. Membership fees for 2010 are only $50 for individual memberships and $65 for family memberships.
We are also offering junior memberships this year for $15 with a limited ability to reserve the courts. So, download
and complete a membership form, send us your dues and join us on the courts for a great time!

The STC tennis
season will begin with the Eighth Annual Max and Sam Abrams Tennis Rally on Saturday, May 14, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
(Rain date 5/16.) This is a free event for all club members and prospective members. There will also be a work day at the courts on April 17, 2010 at 9am (Rain date 4/18) to help get them
ready for the season. Please join us at these events and in
supporting the official charity of the STC: THE RONALD
